Senior YFCs are
for 16-26 year olds. Senior clubs meet weekly and are run by the members
themselves. They design their programmes based on what members want, so
club programmes are generally action-packed with sports, crafts, BBQs, outdoor
pursuits, trips, pub quizzes etc. There is also a Surrey Seniors Social
('SSS') Programme run by the County, where members from all the senior clubs
meet monthly for a great night out. Surrey YFC also runs residential senior
activity weekends, competitions and big social events like the Surrey Young
Farmers Ball.

Opportunities for senior members extend beyond the County and to events
run regionally and nationally. Every year many Surrey Seniors make the
pilgrimage to Blackpool or Torquay for the famous Young Farmers' Annual
Convention, where members from around the country get together for a huge
competitions and party weekend. There are also international travel opportunities
through the National Discovery programme, skills for life programmes and
residential training courses for Leadership Development and Training Techniques.

Young Farmers is a great way to extend your social life, learn, have
fun, try new things and have the time of your life.
