Indoor rally competition schedule

ON SITE COMPETITIONS

Class 10– JUNIOR YOUNG FARMER OF THE YEAR                      
The winner of this class will go on to SEA round.  See National Rules.
               
Members will be interviewed and judged on their contribution to Young Farmers.  Member should be suitably dressed, also 16 years of age or under on 1st Sept 2010.  You will be required to show your 2010-11 membership card. 

Class 11 – SENIOR YFC AMBASIDOR OF THE YEAR                          
The winner of this class will go on to SEA round.  See National Rules
.                    
Members will be interviewed and judged on their contribution to Young Farmers.  Competitors should be suitably dressed, also 26 years of age or under on 1st Sept 2010.  You will be required to show your 2010-11 membership card.

Class 12 Junior ‘A’, 13 Junior ‘B’, 14 Senior    WHERE ON EARTH
 ENTER ON THE DAY                                                       
A team of two members will be required to identify a number of famous sites and say where they are located around the world.

Class 15 Junior‘A’,16 Junior‘B’,17 Senior –A STILL LIFE DRAWING 
You will be required to draw the still life provided.  Paper will be supplied.  PLEASE SUPPLY YOUR OWN PENCILS.  Time allowed 1 hour.

Class 18 Junior’A’, 19 Junior’B’, 20 Senior– EXPEDITION THROUGH THE NATURAL WORLD                                           
Team of 6 (one team per club) be prepared to complete a relay.  Appropriate footwear to be worn.                                                                                                
 Class 21 Junior ‘A’, 22 Junior’B’, 23 Senior – COUNTRYSIDE  CONUNDRUMS’      
ENTER ON THE DAY                                                                           Competitors to solve a list of anagram’s – as soon as possible in an allotted time.

Class 24 Junior’A’, 25 Junior ‘B’, 26 Senior – CAR WORX     
ENTER ON THE DAY                                                                         Competitor to answer questions on car maintenance, you may be asked to perform car maintenance tasks.

Class 27 Junior’A’, 28 Junior ‘B’, 29 Senior – CYCLE SAFETY AND HANDLING               
The competitor will be required to carry out safety checks on a bicycle    
and demonstrate the knowledge and understanding of cycle safety equipment.  At the NFYFC final, the bike will be provided for this element of the competition and will be prepared by the competition organisers.  Competitors should identify any faults and record these on the papers provided.  Competitors will be required to adjust the bicycle saddle to a suitable position for a particular rider.

Using the competitors own bicycle, he or she will be asked to ride their bicycle as directed by the competition judges.  Tasks will include the following:-
