Indoor rally competition schedule

`O P E N C L A S S E S

THE EX-FACTOR
fun competition, no rules and no points, but a prize will be given

Class 1 – PENALTY SHOOTOUT
One Team of 7 per club. Team members will all shoot once, after that a knockout system will apply, when one member misses the whole team is out. Suitable footwear and club colours must be worn.

Class 2 – JAZZ DANCE
The winner of this class will go on to SEA round. See National Rules
Teams of up to 6 members. Competitor/ team are required to demonstrate a jazz dance. Jazz dancing is a form of dance that showcases a dancer's/ teams individual style and originality. Jazz dancing is energetic and fun, consisting of unique moves, fancy footwork, big leaps and quick turns. After the team has danced they must acknowledge the judge and audience for a curtsey or bow. This is to last no longer than 30 seconds. Music to be submitted on the day on CD format.

Timing - a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes will be allowed for the dance, with an extra 30 seconds for the curtsey/ bow.

Class 3 – CLUB SONG
Write, or adapt a song for your Club and perform it to any tune of your choice. You may use a C.D. player or sing without music. Advisory/Associate members are welcome to take part.
A word sheet must be given to the judge prior to performing. Theme: Musicals.

Class 4 – CLUB PUBLICITY 2010 - 2011
All clubs are expected to have at least one entry in this class.
Competitors to produce a club advert for publicity. Free hand and computer entries to be black on white background only (no colour). Size: A4 paper, one side maximum. Write-up should include: Club name, meeting place/day/time, contact name/telephone number also your club logo and slogan if you have one.

These would be used for publicity purposes at next year’s shows along with your club programme also part will be used as your entry into the Cowpie programme

Class 5 –COMPETITIONS SCHEDULE COVER FOR COWPIE 2011
Competitor to design a front cover for the Cowpie 2011 Competitions Schedule.
Theme: Musicals. Ruling: Date of Sunday 8th May 2011 to be shown. Size: A5 or A4. Computers or free hand may be used. Design must be suitable for reproducing. Colour: black on white background only (no colour).
Note: For computer entries; please could you keep your file so that in the event you win, your entry can be forwarded via email, on to our printers.

Class 6 – COWPIE PROGRAMME COVER 2011
Competitor to design a front cover for the 2011 Cowpie Country Show Programme.
Ruling: Date of Sunday 8th May 2011 to be shown. Size: A5 or A4. Computers or free hand may be used. Design must be suitable for reproducing as an A5 booklet. Colour: black on white background only (no colour). This Programme will be sold at Cowpie Show for £1.
Note: For computer entries; please could you keep your file so that in the event you win, your entry can be forwarded via email, on to our Cowpie Programme Secretary.

Class 7 – DRESSING UP
A team of two members, one to dress the other up to the theme: Animal (you will be asked to state an interesting fact about your chosen animal)
using any type of material. Time allowed: 15 minutes.

Class 8 – SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DO IT
ENTER ON THE DAY. Competitors will be asked to copy an activity or a pre-demonstrated skill.

Class 9 – MAKE A WONDER
One team per club of up to 6 members.
Competitors to make one of the natural wonders of the world out of materials supplied on the day. You will be advised on the day which wonder you will be required to make.
