Livestock Marquee
Why not visit the Livestock marquee and Pet’s Corner to see a whole range of farm animals?
Pigs: The pigs are being judged by Young Farmers to see which are the best pigs! They are about 6 months old.

Young Farmer Reared Ducks: Members have reared 2 day old ducklings through to the present day, keeping a daily diary
Calves: We have two types of calves, beef calves which are reared either for meat or to breed more beef animals or dairy calves who will grow until they have their first baby calf at the age of 2.5 years. Then they will have a calf every year. They can live to the age of twenty, producing milk to be sold in the shops.

Beef Cattle: These are being judged by Young Farmers and are
about 18 months old. They are
Dairy Cattle: The dairy cattle will be Holstein Friesian cattle. They are bred especially to produce milk. Every year they have a baby calf. A cow will give about 6,000 litres of milk a year.

Pets Corner: There will be a selection from rabbits, Ginea Pigs, Hamsters, Ferretts & Pigmy Goats - The pet's corner is supported by Bocketts Farm Park
Alpcas & Llamas: These animals are from Nutfield Park Farm....Originaete from South America and are kept for there wool...
Sheep: These sheep are shearling rams and have been reared for breeding.

Orphan Pet Lambs: Members have reared lambs that have been orphaned from birth, some of which will return to the farm.
